
Mr. Smith has over 24 years of experience in the land surveying and civil engineering field. Prior
to forming Alcovy Surveying and Engineering, Inc., Mr. Smith was the owner of Alcovy Surveying Company, Inc. Mr. Smith is experienced in single family subdivision design and commercial development. Mr. Smith also has design experience, working on sanitary sewer collection systems, waste water treatment systems and water line distribution systems.
Commercial Site Development:
Mr. Smith has contributed to the design, construction documentation, construction layout and as-built survey aspects for numerous commercial developments, including Summit Chase Animal Hospital in Loganville, Home Depot Stores in the City of Buckhead, Cobb and Clayton Counties, Walton Truck Stop in the City of Monroe, Harmony Child Care Properties in the City of Buford, Haymon Morris Academy in the City of Winder, Shadburn Ferry Convenience Center in the City of Buford, and the Solo Distribution Center in the City of Social Circle.
Residential Site Development:
Mr. Smith has contributed to the design, construction documentation, construction layout, as-built survey and final plat aspects for numerous residential developments, including Post Properties Apartment Homes, Jameson Plantation S/D, Elyse Springs S/D, Mountain Creek S/D, River Ridge S/D, Brooks Hollow S/D, and Alexander Crossing Apartment Homes.
Municipal and County Projects:
Mr. Smith has contributed to the design, construction documentation, construction layout, installation inspection, and as-built survey aspects for numerous Sanitary Sewer Collection, Sanitary Sewer Treatment Facilities, Water Line Distribution in Georgia, including City of Norwood, Sanitary Sewer Collection and Drip Irrigation Treatment Facility, City of Sparta, Sanitary Sewer Collection and Waste Water Treatment Facility, Gwinnett County Yellow River Outfall Sewer System, Felker Park – Walton County, Walton Industrial Park - Walton County Development Authority, Sanitary Sewer Outfall – City of Greensboro, and Sanitary Sewer Treatment Facility, City of Carnesville.
